My rating of "Afterlife of the Party" lands on a six out of ten stars. I was genuinely entertained by this movie, and it is one that I can warmly recommend you watch. If you have the opportunity to sit down and watch "Afterlife of the Party", you should definitely do so, because this is a heartfelt movie. The acting in the movie was good, and not being familiar with neither Victoria Justice or Midori Francis, I must say that I definitely think they were well-cast for their respective roles, and they put on a good performances and brought their characters to life on the screen in very convicing ways. And I was surprised to find that this wasn't a movie that was specifically aiming at a female audience. But it actually made for proper and good entertainment in my book. Sure, the storyline was a bit cheesy if you step back and take a look at it. So thumbs up to director Stephen Herek for this accomplishment. Yeah, there was definitely some good and positive energies coming from this movie. And "Afterlife of the Party" is the type of movie that puts a smile on your lips and makes you feel good.
